MOTOR ENGINE BACK-FIRES.
INJURY TO SCHOOL TEACHER. ' BONE IN WRIST BROKEN. [by telegraph—own correspondent.] WHikGAREI, Tuesday. A school teacher at Titoki, 17 miles from Whanglirei, Miss Dorothy Mullins, met with a painful accident last evening when cranking her motor-car. The engine back-fired, causing an injury to her right wrist. ' • An X-ray examination this morning revealed a fracture of a bone in the wrist, and the wrist was also severely bruised.
