PROSECUTION AT WAIHI. COMMENT BY MAGISTRATE. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] WAIHI, Tuesday. For the dangerous driving of a, car and having failed to give way to a vehicle approaching on tho right, Gervaiso C. Hicks, aged 19, was fined £3 in the Magistrate's Court this morning, arid his driving licence was suspended for six months. Commenting on the' offences, which resulted in a collision and the overturning.of a car, tho magistrate said it was a bad caso of neglect and only by good luck nobody was killed. The majority of such accidents wero caused by speeding or failure to observe tho right-hand rule.
