MEMORIAL TO FOUNDER.
THE SUNSHINE SCHOOL; UNVEILING OF PORTRAIT. As a memorial to the work of th# founder and first president of the Community Sunshine Association, the lata Mrs. N. E. Ferner, a portrait will be unveiled by Mr. John Court in the assembly, hall of the Sunshine School, Nelson Street, on the afternoon of Saturday, July 25. Sir George Fowlds will preside and the Hon. A. J. Stall worthy Will be present. The portrait, which -is practically lifesize, will be placed in a prominent position in tl?e hall. A smaller portrait of Mrs. Ferner will be unveiled in the board room of the association by Mr. G. Cruickshank, chairman of the board, lo perpetuate the memory of the founder, the wing of the Sunshine School which is used for the school proper will in future bo known as the Nellie E. Ferner Sunshine School.
