The' 4 printers of the journal, Charles Young and Victor Hutt, were also prosecuted for printing it. ' . For the defence it was stated that the publication in question was little more than a leaflet and the printers did not .regard it as a newspaper. , Although Taogney's name did not appear on the leaflet the printers' trading name appeared.
