BOWLING NOTES.

ANNUAL MEETING OF CENTRE. The sudden change in the weather on Saturday afternoon was very disappointing to tho many winter green enthusiasts, particularly those who went to Epsom to play in the postponed business men's match, Queen Street versus Karangahapc Road. ' Owing to an early start being contemplatecl there was almost a .jull muster present, when rain set in. On account of the green being engaged for the next two Saturdays tho match has been further postponed to a date to l>c arranged. The two final games in the King's Birthday tournament between ParkerHill, Papatoetoe, and Graham, Remuera, at Carlton, and Hardley, West End, and Sage, Mount Albert, at Mount Albert, were postponed until next Saturday. The challenge games for Saturday remain the same as those for last Saturday, l'rasor, Mount Eden, holder of tho Edwin stars, will play Brown, Onehunga, and Robertson, Mount Eden, holder of tho Donison pins, is to withstand a challenge from Toy, Ellerslie. • The annual meeting of club delegates to the Auckland Centre will be held on June 20. There will be at least two vacancies on the executive, as Messrs. J. P. Mason and G. W. Reid are not seeking re-election. The personnel of the centre executivo has undergone a few changes during the last ten years. The only old members since 1922 now remaining are Messrs. G. L. Gladding, J. W. Hardley and A. H. Yeoman. Messrs. Gladding and Yeoman are at, present secretary and treasurer respectively and Mr. Hardley is on the committee.
