ALLEGED FORGERY.
CHARGE AT WHANGAREI. [bx telegraph.—own correspondent.] WHANGAREI. Tuesday. At the Whangarei Police Court to-day Patrick Henry O'Hanlon appeared on a charge of forging a cheque drqwn on the National Bank of New Zealand at Whangarei in the name of T. O'Hanlon for tho sum of £33 2s 4d. At the request of Detective-Sergeant Robertson, who slated that a further charge was pending, a remand for eight days was granted. Bail was allowed in accused's own bond of £l5O and a surety of £150.)
