WOMEN'S DIVISION.

FARMERS' UNION

A meeting of the To Aroha branch of the Women's Division, Farmers' Union, was held recently, Mrs. E. Mannington presiding. 1 lie reports of delegates to the annual meeting of the provincial council were received. An interesting lecturo by Mrs. Crowthcr on "The Settlement of Unemployed on the Land" was read and greatly appreciated. It was decided that this branch of the Women's Division, Farmers' Union, would do all in their power to assist the settling of tho right type of unemployed man on the land, the chairwoman reported that arrangements had been concluded for a lecture to be given by a poultry expert from tho Department of Agriculture.
