FIVE SHILLING TOTALISATOR. AUCKLAND CLUB'S PROPOSALS. Proposals to instal a five shilling totali sator and to reduce tho price of admission to the course to one shilling will be considered at a special meeting of the committee of the Auckland Trotting Club on Tuesday afternoon. . Other clubs have installed a five-shilling totalisator with successful results this season, and it is expected that the proposals will be well supported. Although trotting has progressed rapidly in recent years the present depression has resulted in a falling off in tho totalisator returns at recent meetings.
