DISCOVERY BY RUSSIANS. BERLIN. June 1. " They had never heard of the world war, or the death of the Tsar, or tbe birth of the Soviet," is the description given of a so-called " lost tribe of 500 people in the Arctic delta of the Indigirka River, Eastern Siberia. They had not seen a stranger for 18 Years until an expedition from the Soviet Academy of Science arrived. The tribe's chief Judge is a woman. Their chief occupations are fishing aud hunting. When the principles of Bolshevism were explained to the tribesmen they said they strongly disapproved of them.
