WEATHER AT AUCKLAND.
IMPROVEMENT yesterday. ROUGH SEAS ON WEST COAST. There were improved weather conditions at Auckland yesterday, the day being fine, but light showers. were, experienced in the evening. Although the wind had ' moderated to a light breeze and )|ad changed to the south-west, there was a considerable, sea on the west coast.
After 1 having been bar-bound at tho Manukau Heads since the previous day tho Northern Company's motor-vessel Ronaki returned tot Onehunga at midday yesterday. Her departure for Hokianga has been postponed until tomorrow afternoon. The company's motorvessel Hauturu left Onehunga for Raglan, Kawhia, New Plymouth and Wanganui last evening, but owing to the rough sea on the bar she anchored at the heads.
There was a continuation of rough seas on tho west coast of the South Island and vessels at Westport and Greymouth were further delayed. Some of thorn have been bar-bound at Greymouth for over a week and advice received at Auckland yesterday stated that they could not depart before 11 a.m. to-day.
