" The First Mrs. Eraser," one of St. John Ervinc's delightful comedies, will bo* presented in His Majesty's Theatre by the J. C. Williamson management for a season commencing to-morrow. There will be seven performances, including a matinee on Saturday afternoon. In (he part made famous on the English stage by Miss Mario Tempest, Miss Ethel Morrison, a New Zealand actress, interprets the part of the first Mrs. Eraser with a fine sense of the exactions cf£ the role. Other notable members of the cast arc Mr. J. B. Howe, who is splendid us the self-centred Scotsman who lias been divorced once and is seeking a separation from his second wife, and Mary Mac- 1 Gregor, who is just the type of actress for the part of the. second wife. The popularity of tho play is proved by the fact that it. enjoyed a: season of over two years in London and ran for ten weeks in Melbourne. " Let Us Be Gay," a sophisticated comedy-drama, will bo staged for five nights, commencing on June 10. Noel Coward's " Hay Fever," another established success, will also be presented for a limited season.
