LECTURES AT MUSEUM.

CONTINUATION THIS YEAR.

In view of the success of the Sunday afternoon lectures at the museum, instituted last year, they will be continued this winter. Four lectures will be given, commencing on Sunday, and each will be illustrated by specimens. "Maori Dwellings and Storehouses" will -be the subject of the first lecture, to be given by/ Mr. V. F. Fisher, a member :of the museum staff. He will deal with ceremonies and architecture generally; although he will outline particularly the history and special features of the larger buildings in the Maori section of the museum. Lovers of New Zealand bush will welcome the talk on "New Zealand Ferns," to be given on Juno 14 by Miss E. F. 'Kibbiewhite., "Canada: Its Early Settlement and Industries," will ■bo the title of the third lecture, by the Rev. Angus Mac Donald. The fourth lecture will be delivered by Mr. Gilbert Archey, the director of the Auckland Institute and Museum.
