ELECTION OF OFFICERS.
[from our own correspondent.] PAEROA, Saturday. The annual meeting of the Paeroa Orphans' Club was held last- evening, when there was a large attendance of members. The president, Mr. Williams, presided. The Teport and balancesheet showed the club to be in a sound position. V, Officers for the year were elected as follows:—Guardian, Mr. H. Poland; president, Mr. P. Williams; secretary, Mr. R S. Garden j treasurer, Mr. 9 - Samuel; committee., Messrs. W. E. Ward, G. H. Taylor, E. Edwards, A. J. Tyson G. T. Mei.tam, P. Jaspers, V. J.
