TE AROHA MEETING.

TO-MORROW'S FIXTURE. EXCELLENT FIELDS ENGAGED. MANY HIGH-CLASS RUNNERS. The Waikato trotting circuit, which was opened successfully nt Cambridge last Saturday, will be advanced a further since tomorrow with the annual fixture of the To Aloha Trotting Club. The meeting isbeing held much later than during the last few seasons, but this has not in any way affected the liberal patronage of owners and trainers, and tho fields in the eight events aro large and fully representative of the best-class horses in the various grades. The course has recently been greatly improved and will offer good footing, while its increased width will obviate the necessity for making two rows for limit horses in 'lie crowded novice events. The cup field contains some high-grade performers, rind in addition to First Flight and Peter Pirate, who filled the minor places at Cambridge, good performers in Great Parrish, Grand Canyon* and Mignonne are engaged. Tho cprint events, the Farewell and Hot Springs Handicaps, contain several smart ones, the former including Some Dillon, Little Guy. Lady Author and Iligh Sea, in addition to several cup candidates. Tho saddle race will be full of interest with Judy Thorpe, Maroso. Nathaniel, Our Peter, Andover and June Noraiea taking part. Tho Manawaru Handicap, two miles, for improving pacers, promises a keen contest, and the well-performed backmarkers. Impromptu and L.idv Yvonne, should find stout opposition from Kcwpie's Guy, Kewpie's Triumph and Cainui. As usual, tho novice races have filled well and Betty Guy, Dolly Thorpe, Bismuth. Ariibond and Ben Zolock in the Waitoa Handicap, and I'oi. Great Fame, Betty Guy. Eleawah, Jackie Thorpe and Prince Lochinvar in t'ne Runkaka Handicap will find plenty of supporters. There aro two races for square-gaited competitors. and among tho improvers Win Htion, Tiwhn. Miss Braeside. Golden Ilui.i, Lady Stepney and Black Magic will make matters interesting. In the better-class trot Mr. Penalty. Finoro, Gold Star, Royal Triumph and Wimmera King will provide food for thought. Special transport arrangements for trainers and their charges and the general public have been made, while tho management of tho club has left no stone unturned to mako the duy's sport enjoyable for its many patrons. This year's meeting at To Arolia should bo one of the best yet promoted by the popular club.
