SERIOUS CHARGE.
YOUNG MAN FOR SENTENCE. A charge of indecently assaulting a boy aged eight years was preferred against Kenneth Alfred Hammond, aged 24, a labourer, in tho Supreme Court yesterday, before Mr. Justice Smith. Accused pleaded guilty and was remanded for sentence until the close of the criminal sessions.
