EX-KING ALFONSO.
MESSAGE TO PEOPLE. PATRIOTISM THE KEYNOTE. MADRID. May 6. The proprietor of the monarchist newspaper A.B.C. went to London and interviewed ex-King Alfonso of Spain who said: I have decided to place no difficulties in the way of the Republican Government. I want everybody to know, whether they are monarchists- or republicans and whether or no a twisted interpretation be given to my words, that I am sincere and that my future conduct will prove my loyalty. " Monarchists who desire to fulfil my wishes must help in everything patriotic. I have not abdicated the rights to the Crown belonging to my ancestors and descendants."
