She is scheduled to pail at five o'clock to-morrow evening on her return voyage to Japan, via Sydney.'
MATAKANA REPORTED. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Matakana is reported to have leached Rio de Janeiro on Monday, en route from Auckland to London. She sailed from Auckland on April 10. THE MAUNGANUI. Having'left Wellington at nine o'clock on Tuesday evening, the Maunganui is due at 10 a.m. to-day. The vessel will berth at Queen's Wharf. She is 'to be despatched for Sydney at three o'clock tomorrow afternoon. TASMANIA AT LONDON. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tasmania, which left Wellington for London, via Monte Video, on February 20. is reported to havo reached London on Tuesday. THE ULIMAROA. Tho Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa is scheduled to leave Sydney for Wellington to-morrow morning. The vessel is due at Wellington on Tuesday and she is to sail on he-r return trip to Sydney the following Friday. POOLTA FROM AUSTRALIA. With cargo from Grafton and Port Stephens the Poolta is expected to leave Newcastle to-day and Sydney to-morrow for Auckland. Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Greymouth. She should reach Auckland next Thursday. TOFUA LEFT SUVA. The Tofua arrivod at Suva from Tonga and Apia yesterday morning nnd sailed for Auckland at three o'clock in tho afternoon, a day earlier than was expected. She is duo on Sunday. HERTFORD FOR FINAL LOADING. The Federal Lino steamer Hertford is due from Wellington on Saturday afternoon and will berth at Queen's Wharf to complete loading for England. She is to sail for London, via Panama, next Wednesday. THE WAIKAWA. The Waikawa arrived from Newcastle last evening and is at King's Wharf. She will probably not sail for Vancouver direct until to-morrow. She is scheduled to load at Pacific Coast ports during June for Papeete. Auckland, Wellington, Nelson. Melbourne and Sydney, and also possibly for New Plymouth. THE MELBOURNE MARU. The Japanese motor-ship Melbourne Maru was scheduled lo clear Moji, Japan, on May 1 for Hongkong and Manilla to complete loading for Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Wellington, and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on Juno 4 and at Auckland about June 7. THE WESTMORELAND. Due from Liverpool at eleven o'clock tomorrow morning, the Federal Line steamer Westmoreland will berth at Queen's Wharf to unload cargo from We3t Coast of Great Britain to the agency of the NewZealand Shipping Company. From land the vessel will proceed to Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dnnedin to complete discharge. BRUNSWICK REPORTS. Wireless advice from the tanker Brunswick states that she will arrive from San Pedro at four o'clock to-morrow afternoon, the vessel has a full carao of bulk petrol for tho Atlantic Union Oil Company and will discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Sydney and Newcastle. She will berth at Western Wharf. GALLIC'S ALTERED ITINERARY. An alteration las been made in the loading itinerary of the Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Gallic. She is now scheduled to leave Timaru to-day for Wellington, Wanganui and Auckland to complete loading. The vessel is due at Auckland on May 18 and she is to sail for Southampton and London on May 20. CARGO FROM THE EAST. Tho Union Company's Indian trader Narbada is due at. daybreak to-morrow with Eastern produce from Calcutta, Rangoon, Penang, Singapore and Samarang. She will unload a quantity of the cargo at Queen's Wharf and the remainder at Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. SULPHUR FROM TEXAS. A. S. Paterson and Company, Limited, have Teceived advice that the Tyneside Line steamer Newton Elm is to leave Galveston, Texas, on May 24. with a full cargo of sulphur. THE SIR, KARL KNUDSEN. With a full cargo of bulk petrol for the Shell Company, the Norwegian niotor-tan,ier Sir Karl Knudsen arrived from Singapore yesterday morning. She will unload about (>7OO tons at Auckland and the remainder of her cargo at The • vessel «niled from Singapore on April 13. She is to leave for Wellington about Sunday. This is the vessel's first visit to Auckland. She was built at Denyiaik in 192S and was launched in December of that year. Her tonnage is 7717 gross. Her cargo capacity is 10.100 tons and htr dead-weight capacity 11 ISO tons. She is f.tted with twin Burmeister and Main type Diesel engines, which drive her at. a speed of 11 knots.
