COMMUNITY SUNSHINE.
An enjoyable concert was given at Motuihi Island for the Napier refugee children, arranged by Mr. Hamblin. The programme, which was directed by Mrs. Bovle, consisted of songs, dancing, elocution, special items by the orchestra, and, most entertaining of all, a ventriloquist. The concert was much enioyed by the children and staff and grateful thanks are due to the following performers: —Misses Pat and Kathleen Boyle, Koanui Simeon. Wilma Lockwood, Avis Arthur, M. and D. Greening, Mesdames Simeon, Lockwood, Arthur, Boyle (accompanist), Messrs. D. Ence. H. F. Davis, A. E. Sanft and 'C. Valentine (ventriloquist).
