ROADMAN GIVEN DAMAGES. AMOUNT OF £1904 AWARDED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] PAI/MEESTON NORTH. Wednesday. In the Supreme Court to-day Phillip Llewellyn Smith, of Bunnythorpe, a roadman, proceeded against 'Jonathan Symonds and Alice May Symonds, of Feilding, claiming £4OOO general and £629 special damages for injuries received in a motor collision at Bunnythorpe on August 18, in consequence of which plaintiff's leg was amputated. Mr. Justice MacGregor awarded £IBOO general and £lO4 special damages.
