SALVATION ARMY.
COMMANDANT. HILL RETURNS. Commandant E. Hill, of the Salvation Army, accompanied by Mrs. Hill, returned to Auckland yesterday by the Corinthic after an absence of seven years in England. Although he retired from the active list of the Salvation Army prior to his departure for England, Mr. Hill still retains the rank of commandant. He was for many years a field and social officer in New Zealand, and for part of that time was stationed in Auckland. He is well known in Salvation Army circles throughout New Zealand
