THE RUAKURA FARM.
MAINTENANCE 'WORK DONE. STOCK IN GOOD CONDITION. [from our own correspondent.] HAMILTON. Wednesday. Maintenance work is in progress on all parts of the Government farm at Ruakura at present. Hedges are being cut, drains cleaned, paths and gateways gravelled, fences and gates repaired, and buildings are being repainted.. The clutching of the sheep on the farm is being carried out by the pupils at tho agricultural school. Ibis work is being done eailier at Ruakura than elsewhere in the district. The stock on the farm is standing up well to the wintry conditions that have been experienced lately, and are well supplied with feed. The indications are that, notwithstanding the dry spell experienced in tho autumn, production will be equal to last season's figures'.
