GANDHI IN A FILM.

COMING VISIT TO LONDON. NATIVE WEAR TO BE DONNED. (Received May 1, 9.15 p.m.) DELHI. May 1. A talking news film, in which Gandhi figured for the first time, was made today. Mr. Borsad, an American journalist, asked Gandhi if he would wear European clothes if he were invited to Buckingham Palace during his visit to London.

" It would bo a discourtesy to King George if I appeared in any other than my native costume," he replied. "If the weather permits I shall wear in England an ordinary Indian loin cloth."
