SPANISH STATE MUSEUMS. DECISION OF GOVERNMENT. (Received May 1, 9.15 p.m.) MADRID. May 1. The Government has decided to convert 10 of King Alfonso's palaces into' State museums, including the palace at Madrid, where one wing may become the President's residence.; Senor Zarnora will not take over the palaces at San Sebastian and Santander, which are regarded as King Alfonso's private property.

The park of the El Pardo Palace, eight nii'les from Madrid, which is surrounded by a wall 62 miles long, will be turned into small holdings. It covers an area as large as that of the capital.
