PROBABLE DEBUTANTE.
OF NEW ZEALAND INTEREST. Many people will remember tlio visit to Wellington during tho war of tlio Earl of Glasgow and liis wife, who were then Lord and Lady Kelburn, states a Wellington exchange. In 1892 Lord Kelburn's father, the Earl of Glasgow, was Governor of New Zealand, and remained so until 1907. The suburb of Kclburno w:is named after Lord Kelburn, and it was not unLil their visit during the war that Wellington know that Kclburnc spelt with an "e" was not correct according to the viscount's name, but owing to tho namo being registered as such it was not possible to alter it. Lady Kelburn at this time lived at the "Grange," Wadestown, and was a member of the committee of the Sydney Street Soldiers' Club, whose president was Dame Christina.Massey. Lady Kelburn will also he remembered by all the war workers for her co-operation and ready help at the Town Hull and elsewhere. Just now in England Lady Grizel Boyle, their eldest daughter, is spoken of as a probable de. butanto of this year. She is just 18 years of age and was very small when her parents visited New Zealand. Also tho heir Lord Kelburn, comes of age next year, when there will bo great rejoicings at Kelburn Castle, Fairlie, Ayrshire. The Lady Alice Fergusson, wife of bir Charles Fergusson, Governor-General of New Zealand in 1924, is tho aunt of Lady Grizel Boyle, and Captain Patrick Boyle, M.V.0., who was military secretary to Sir Charles Fergusson in New Zealand, is also closely connected, with. tna>
