NEW ZEALAND ENSIGN.
PRESENT TO ROYAL DUKE. Lfjiom our own coiulespo.vdext.] LONDON. Feb. 19. When the English Rugby Uniou football team toured New Zealand.the Auckland Association of Boys' Clubs gave a Now Zealand Ensign into tlieii- keeping with the request that it should be presented to the Duke of Gloucester. A few days ago a little ceremony took place in the Duke's apartments at Buckingham Palace, to which tho High Commissioner, Sir Thomas Wilford, was summoned. Mr. T. Baxter, manager of the team, and Commander Cooper, secretary of the Bugbv L'nion. made the presentation to the Duke. With them were Colonel J. M. Mitchell, chairman of the Council of Boys' Clubs, Mr. E. T. Campbell, M.P.," Sir James Reynolds, MP., and WingCommander Louis Greig. y With the flag was a message from tha New Zealand boys expressing their, affection for the boys of the English clubs, with whom they were united by similar aims and ideals, and by the desire ta become worthy citizens of tho British Empire.
