PURCHASE BY GOVERNMENT,
PERTH, Feb. G,
Tho finder and owner of the " Golden Eagle " nugget, N. Y. Larcombe. has re ceived a. cheque for £5438 from the Western Australian Government, which has purchased it. Of this sum £236 represents tho Commonwealth's new bounty on gold.
