WA ITEM ATA CLUB The Waitema tn Boating Club held trial fours on Saturday afternoon for trophies donated by Mr. W. Denison, president. The routpo was from Ornkci to a point oft Iho new waterfront roadway. Splendid water conditions prevailed and a series of wellrowed races was witnessed. Mr. L. Brooker was starter and Mr. W, Mason ueted ns judge. Five crews competed. Tlio crews of C. Fenron and C. Bolton met in tlio final. Fearon's crew first showed to advantage and led throughout tlio journey. In the last stages Belton's crew came across and a slight collision occurred. Tt had no bearing on the result, and Fearon's crew went away to win by about lluec lengths.
