The' Royal Mail liner Aorangi will arrive from Sydney at 5.30 o'clock this morning, according to her wiroless advice. She will borth at Prince's Wharf to land pnssengers and moil and embark pabßengers for island ports and Cnnida.. At eleven o'clock tomorrow morning she is to resume her voyage to Suva, Hoiul.ilu and Vancouver. WAIMEA LAID UP. The Waimea arrived from Gisborne last evening and is at Prince's Wharf. Tho vessel did not call at Napier as was intended. The cargo for that port has been brought back to Auckland and will be unloaded to-day. Owing to the dislocation of trade at Napier the Waimea has been withdrawn from rommission and will be laid up. THE PUKEKO. The Richardson motor-ship Pukeko left Napier at ten o'clock on Saturday morning for Waikokopu. Gisborne, Portland and Auckland. The vessel cleared Gisborne early yesterday mo-.-nine and is expected to reach Auckland from Portland this evening. Messrs. Wfttkin and Wallis advise that the vessel is to be despatched tomorrow for East Coast, bays. Gisborne nnd Wairoa. She will also take for Napier any cargo required by the relief committee. BRISBANE,MARU'S DISPUTE SETTLED. The dispute regarding the unloading of the Japanese motir-ship Brisbane Maru was settled on Saturday morning nnd the vessel is now unloading cargo from Japan and also loading cargo for that country. Cargo from Australia i« not to be unloaded, according to an agreement between the local representative of the vessel and the officials of the Seamen'si Union and waterside workers. The vessel is scheduled to sail for Melbourne at three o'clock this afternoon on her return voyage to Japan, via Australia. MATAROA'S PASSENGERS. An unexpected arrival at Auckland yesterday was the 80-ton wooden auxiliary schooner Endeavour from Suva. She has come to Auckland to be laid up owing to the slackness of trade in the islands The vessel was built at Auckland in I'JO4 for the Whankatane cargo servi:e and later she was owned for a long time by tho Wilson New Zealand Portland Cement Company. In June, 1925, she was purchased by Messrs. A. M. Brodziak and Company., Suva, for the Fijian inter-island trade. During the Inst*l2 months she has been chartered by Messrs. Peai:ce and Company, Fiji, but as there was lfo more work offering for tho vessel she was sent to Auckland. Her registered owner is Mr. Robert Burns. She sailed from Suva on January 31 and experienced fine weather, with light winds, varying from east to south, on the passage. Captain R. Anderson brought the vessel to Auckland, assibted by Mr. J. McKenzie as mate. The remainder of the crew are Fijiana. She is at Central Wharf. BALERIC IN PORT. The Bank Line steamer Haleric reached Auckland on Saturday afternoon from San Pedro and berthed at Western Wharf. The Haleric loaded case oil nt Port Arthur and San Pedro, which was clenred on January 12. The vessel met with fine weather until three or four days ago. when strong south-easterly winds were experienced. The remainder of her chrgo is for discharge at Wellington. Lyttelton. Dunedin and Australian ports. It is expected that, she will leave Auckland on Wednesday. Spedding, Limited, are the local agents. Captain J.
