A decision to urge the Government to reduce tho salaries of all civil servants in receipt of more than £SOO a year by half tho amount being rccived in excess of that sum was unanimously arrived at by the Franklin Power Board at its meeting yesterday. It was also unanimously decided to suggest to tho Government that steps should bo taken to have (he Arbitration Court rates of pay reduced by 10 per cent.
