SHEEP FOR WAIKATO.
LOADING AT TANEATUA. RAIN CAUSES SLIGHT DELAY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA, TJiursdny. Thero lias been a heavy movement of sheep this week by train from Taneatua. Thero were 31 trucks of stock on this morning's train, comprising 28 trucks of sheep for Claudelands and three of pigs to Longburn. The afternoon train had 16 trucks of sheep from Taneatua for Claudelands, three trucks of cattle and five of sheep from wayside stations for Westfield.
The sheep from Taneatua are part of the general movement of sheep from Poverty Bay. ft is anticipated that there will l>o a slight, delay in loading at; Tanatua owing to the stock being held up on the road by the heavy rain.
