TRICKERY ALLEGED.
THEFT CHARGE IN COURT.
Charged with stealing £SO from Cecil Henry Battloy, by means of a trick, in that the sum was received as payment for shares in the New Zealand Traders' Bookkeepers' Service, Limited, Frederick /, Joseph Huddleston, aged 26, clerk (Mr. Noble), appeared in the Police Court yesterday, before Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M. * ' , ■ Detective-Sergeant Kelly asked . for a, remand for a week, as other charges were - pending. The remand was granted, bail of £IOO being allowed.
