MELBOURNE EXPORT TRADE. DISPUTE OVER WAGES. (Received January 10, 1'2.5 fi.m.) MELBOURNE. Jan. 9. A strike of casing workers employed in the meat export trade concerning rates of pay is in progress, and is likely to be protracted.

Tho employers offered £5 3s 6d a week, but tho casing workers demanded £5 ss. Tho exporters have decided to closo all branches of the meatworks until the strikers have resumed work.
