WHANGAREI EQUIPMENT*

WHANGAREI, Friday
The first shipment, consisting of 92 cases, of the equipment for the new Whangarei automatic telephone exchanga arrived in Whangarei this morning. The equipment has been stored in a speciallyprepared room. Officials say that the service being installed is of the latest type and an improvement upon any other system in the Dominion.
