WOMEN'S INSTITUTES.
OHINEWAI. The monthly meeting of the Ohinew&i Women's Institute was held iri the local hall on-January 7. The president, Mrs. McGaughran, presided. After business had been dealt, with Mrs, Fergusson gave an instructive demonstration upon how to cut, out, a frock. An interesting competition of girls' names, arranged by Miss E. Waugh, was won by Mrs. McGaughran. The hostesses, Mrs. .Fergusson, Mrs. C. Hill and Miss E. Waugh, served afternoon tea.
