THE BONDI MURDERS.
POLICEMEN KILLED ON DUTY. CORONER PRAISES HEROISM. (Received January 8. 11.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 8. Thp coroner decided that Kennedy was of unsound fnind when he shot Constables Allen and Andrews at Bondi Junction last Saturday, and also that Constable Johnson was justified in shooting Kenendy.
The coroner expressed the highest appreciation of the heroism of tho dead policemen. Ho said he hoped the Police Department would provide appropriate posthumous awards to their next of kin, and that Johnson would be rewarded in sonio manner for his timely action.
