AIR FORCE CANDIDATES.

A rigid medical tost is imposed by a spooial examiner for Iho New Zealand Air Force on New Zealanders who desire to go to England to join the Air Force, and of the men passed as fit by this officer none has been rejected on medical grounds by tho board in England. Some, however, have persisted in going to England after they have been rejected here in the hope that they will still be able to pass (he test in England, while others have gone Home after they have been passed here as medically fil by private practitioners. The Air Force authorities recognise the need of special fitness in such men, and it is claimed that the examinatiop in New Zealand is even more severe than that, in England.
