PROPOSALS AT CAMBRIDGE.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CAMBRIDGE. Wednesday.
Accompanied by tho Minister of Agriculture, Hon. A. J. Murdoch, tho Post-master-General, Hon. J. B. Donald, visited Cambridge yesterday and inspected the post office in connection with the proposed extensions. Mr. Donald said the woik would be carried out at beginning of the new financial year. It is proposed to extend the present building and also to make use of tho portion now occupied by t the postmaster as .a. private? residence*
