SIDE-CAR RIDER INJURED.
FRONT TYRE BLOWN OUT.
CYCLE RUNS OVER BANK.

The blow-out of a front tyre caused a motor-cycle and side-car to leave the Waipu Road yesterday and plunge over a bank eight feet high, when it turned over several times.
The driver, Mr. 0. Cullen, of Maungaturoto, escaped without a scratch, but his sister, Miss Jessie Cullen, suffered from bruises and slight concussion, and was brought into Whangarei in the Young Men's Christian Association's St. John Ambulance for treatment.
