HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL.
PROPOSED SWIMMING BATHS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, Wednesday. Tlio Ilaniilton High School Board of Governors to-day appointed a committee to consider tondors for the construction of the school swimming baths. The chairman, Mr. C. L. MacDiarmid, suggested that' tlio possibility of having the work carried out by the Hamilton Borough Council as an unemployment relief work in order to obtain a Government subsidy should bo investigated. It was decided to arrange with the Minister of Education, tlio Hon. H. Atmoro, to receive a deputation in Hamilton to-morrow, urging the erection of a boys' hostel at tho Bchool at an early dat«.
