KUMEU HALL SOCIETY.

T'le annual general meeting of the Kumeu Public Hall Society was hold in 'be Kumeu Hall on Monday evening. There was a. fair attendance of members, the president, Mr. 11. P. Dane, presiding. -Mr. Dane, iri his report, stated that, apart from tho levelling of the floor of the main hall for indoor bowls there was iiothing outstanding to report. The volume of business in hall hire was increasing each year. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance after meeting several expenses, which were apart from the usual current, expenditure. The position of the hall was financially sound. The following officers were elected for tho ensuing year:—President, Mr. R. P. Dane; vice-president, Mr. F- Harrison; feoretary, Mr. R. Cates; treasurer, Mr. A. E. Lambert; committee, Messrs. R. A. Barnes, W. Smith, A. Lockwood, S. Bell, G. Barnes and G. Glogoski.
