HAMILTON NEWS.

LYCEUM CLUB. On Tuesday evening a most successful social evening was held by tho members of tho entertainment committee of the Lyceum Club in tho club loungo, which was attractively decorated with bowls of Iceland poppies and marigolds. Mrs. W. Hume, president, received the guests. A competition was played and Mrs. Vero Chitty won the prize. Tho following very enjoyable programme was given : —Piano duet, Listz Rhapsodie No. 2, Misses Bar roll; sketch, "How to Know Wild Animals," Mrs. Kaber Harrison; song, "Love's Echo," Mrs. C. F. Sherley; piano solo, Listz Rhapsodio No. 5, Mrs. K. Sinclair; songs, "Samson and Delilah" and "Bauks of Minnetonka," Mrs. Gordon Brown. Mrs. E. Gibbs, Mrs. H. J. Ferguson and Mrs. H. Hammond played the accompaniments. Thoso present were:—Mrs. H. J. Greenslade, Mis. F. Bullock, Mrs. M. W. Coventry, Mrs. H. Luxford, Mrs. A. Andrews, Mrs. 11. Smales, Mrs. H. Marychurch, Mrs. A.
