VOYAGE BY COLUMBUS.
EARLY VISIT TO AMERICA. STATEMENT BY PROFESSOR. BERLIN. Sept. 17. Columbus' famous voyage to America was not his first, according to Professor Ulloa, a well-known Spanish authority, lecturing to tho 'American Congress at Hamburg. " I am definitely able to establish after research in the Spanish archives, that Columbus made an earlier crossing with Danish privateers via Ireland, Greenland, Labrador and Newfoundland to Florida, where he landed. The documents reveal that Columbus was. formerly a pirate," said tho professor.
