CANADA AND BRITAIN.

GRAIN EXPERTS' VISIT.

UNITED STATES CONCERNED. (Received September 24, 9.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Sept. 23. Tho news of the departure for the Imperial Conference in London of the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. R. B. Bennett, with executive officers of the Canadian wheat pool and specialists in grain was received at Washington with great interest. It is assumed that somo arrangement may bo arrived at between the British Import Board and the whoat and flour producers of tho Dominions which will not benofit tho exporters in tho United States. In some quarters the beginning is seen of a now world market structure in which the British Empire and every other wheatproducing country will be a self-contained unit, growing only as much as might bo used within its own boundaries. Government officials say they aro not able to comment on the matter.
