SURVEY FOR RAILWAY. BRITISH GOVERNMENT AID. (Received September 24, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, Sept. 23. Upon tho recommendation of tho Colonial Development Advisory Committee tho Government has approved a grant of financial assistance from tho Colonial Development Fund toward tho cost of a detailed survey to be undertaken forthwith in connection with a project for the construction of a railway from Haifa, Syria, to Bagdad, Irak.
