ESCORTED MAN SHOOTS HIMSELF
(Received September 24, 9.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. Sept. 23. There whs, a dramatic suicide outside the detective staff's headquarters in Sydney to-day. William Alt, aged 45, manager of tho Wattle Weaving Wills at Campordown, was brought to the office in a police car. He had just alighted when he drew a revolver and shot himself in tho head. The wounded man fell into tho arms of the escorting detective and died immediately. - .
