The Helsingfors correspondent of tho Times states that at tho trial of Ei'zinkinn, formerly a Soviet commercial representative, on a charge of issuing spurious bills, accused's counsel produced a remarkable declaration signed by eight ex-Soviet representatives abroad, including Bessedovsky and Dmitriovskv.
This stated in favour of Erzinkian that Soviet Legations and trade delegations have secret chancelleries controlled by tho Ogpu (Russian secret police) where all secret accounts are kept and aro nonadrnissable to other officials.
Dmitrievsky. formerly a councillor to tho Soviet Legation at Stockholm, says tho Ogpu annually sponds 600,000 marks for secret purposes to Finland. The Third (Communist) International sponds hugo sums.
Tho Ogpu is paying special attention to Finland bccauso it considers it one of the countries which shortly will bo ripe for revolution.
The Soviet Legations at Berlin and Stockholm have purchased arms for tho Finnish Communists.
