CANADA TO ENGLAND.

CAPTAIN BOYD STARTS. FORCED LANDING MADE. (Received September 1-1. 5.5 p.m.) MONTREAL, Sept. 13. Captain Errol J. Boyd (Canada), pilot, and Lieutenant Harry Connor (United States), navigator, left St. Hubert aerodrome, Montreal, this morning for Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, on an attempted flight to England in Ciarenco Chamberlain's transatlantic aeroplano Columbia.

Tho two fliers landed at Cliarlottetown, Princo Edward Island, later in the day because of strong head winds and other adverse flying conditions. They propose to leave again to-morrow for Harbour Grace.

Captain Errol J. Boyd made a roundtrip non-stop flight to Bermuda recently with Roger Q. Williams and Lieutenant Harry Connor. Ho is a Canadian war veteran. Ho married Miss Evelyn Carbery, musical comedy actress, in 1917. They have four daughters.
