YOUNG MAN SHOT.
KILLED IN WfNE BAR. ARREST OF PROPRIETOR. (Received September 14, 5.35 p.m.) SYDNEY. Sept. 14 A young man, Lancelot Saidlcr, was shot dead in a wine bar in Elizabeth Street yesterday afternoon. It is alleged that he demanded money from the proprietor, who refused to give him any, and that Saidler then threatened him with a razor.
In the resultant confusion the fatal shot was fired. Saidler was vaulting over the bar counter when the proprietor, E. A. Good, fued a revolver, as he told tho detectives," in self-defence. Good has been ancsted and charged with manslaughter.
