TAILOR'S ROOM ENTERED.

SEVERAL SUITS STOLEN. GLASS PANEL IN DOOR BROKEN. A tailoring establishment on the second floor of Warwick Chambers, Queen Street, conducted by Mr. John McDonald, was broken into by a thief between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, and a completed suit, four unfinished suits and an overcoat, valued at about £47, were removed. The intruder entered by breaking a glass panel in the door, and turning the lock from the inside. The building is open all the time, and is very quiet on Saturday afternoon, so that the chances of detection were slight. Apparently he had come with a suitcase or handbag, as none of the wrapping paper in the rooms was disturbed.
