Effective) decorations and tho soft colouring of many pretty frocks made the Symotulsville Studio a most attractive place on Saturday, when Miss Spencer held her weekly dance. Mr. J. Rowe and his orchestra played tho latest music. Among those present were:—Miss Spencer, who wore willow green satin with gold bridge coatee; Miss Welsh, deep apricot georgette trimmed with diamante; Miss A. Steel, lavender taffeta and silver lace; Miss I. McCook, shell pink georgette and ivory lace; Miss M. Boyle, primrose crepe'do chine; Miss 0. lhomas, flounced lemon georgette; Miss A. Lill, ashes of roses pink georgette; Miss Chapman, petunia shot talfcta; Miss E. Bi inlay, corsage of peach nink satin with skirt of pink georgette; Miss M. lusher, picture frock of forget-me-not blue net; Miss B. Alexander, mauve taffeta and silver lace; Miss Skelton, opal blue georgette, coatee to lone; Miss Harrington, lace frock of cameo pink trimmed with pink satin; Miss Parker, ankle-length frock of pastel pink georgette and ivory lace: Miss G. llyan, briar rose pink georgette; Miss Feet, cherry red embossed georgette; Miss Beswick, black georgette with deep hem lino of tucked net; Miss Ovenden, powder blue taffeta with pink hip bow; Miss T. lhomas, flame taffeta and gold tissue; Miss L. Stonebam, flounced cameo pink net; Miss B. Robertson, ivory satin with sash of gold lame; Miss D. King, mist blue floral taffeta; Miss L. Christie, black lace with pink satin hip bow; Miss M. Craig, primrose sal in with tiny frills of ivory tulle; Miss llope-Johnstone, white satin and tulle; Miss Ertson, blue.and silver laco; Miss Fenwick, silver metal lace over green satin; Miss Ilipkins, lime green tissue; Miss E Potter, apple green satin bcaute with tulle hemline; Miss G. Burns, black and pink net; Miss E. King, frock of black georgette and net; Aliss Darveille, carnation red net; Miss McGinley, leaf green taffeta and silver lame; Miss B. Kirker, ivory laco over lemon satin; Miss D. Harrison, pastel laco and satin; Miss F. Reynolds, mauve floral chiffon and tulle.
